Unlocker is an Windows Explorer extension allowing you with a simple right-click on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it’s being used by another person or program.
Helps delete locked files with error messages like:
- Cannot delete file: Access is denied
- There has been a sharing violation.
- The source or destination file may be in use.
- The file is in use by another program or user.
- Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

    Yeah, but the new one doesn’t have a switch to remove that damned ebay icon…so I wouldn’t update it either.

    If both the old version 1.8.5 has the eBay icon too, then why don’t update to the new version 1.8.7?

    Here’s a way to remove it, run it in a batch:
    unlocker1.8.7.exe /S
    rmdir “%appdata%/Desktopicon” /s /q
    %HOMEDRIVE%
    del “%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\Desktop\eBay.lnk” /f /q /a

    From the change log:
    Promotional feature: Added fully optional shortcuts to eBay during the installation. Simply untick “eBay shortcuts” in the choose components page during install if you do not wish to have those.
    Can’t you just untick it before packing?

    Unless they provide a silent switch for that… I’m afraid, it’s not possible to disable to eBay shortcuts without repacking the whole installer.

    Lite = without annoying shortcuts, toolbars, anything goes here :)

    Hay man you’re commenting way too much! Please, I don’t have so much free time. Use CabPack to package your own addons (it’s available for download here on WinAddons). You will find the .Net 2.0, 3.0, etc. addon somewhere on MSFN or RyanVM forums.
