    Note to Windows 2000 users:
    This addon will only work with Administrator class accounts.
    Even stranger, if you later install Adobe reader 8, that too will only work with Administrator class accounts.

    Note to the above, Windows 2000 users should use the following command at RunOnce (obviously supplying the correct path):

    OOo_2.2.0_Win32Intel_install_en-US.exe /S

    Also (and this applies to ALL users, not just Windows 2000) if you want the system to open Microsoft Office files with Open Office include the following commands in your RunOnce:

    FType OpenOffice.org.doc=”%SystemDrive%\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\sWriter.exe” -o “%1″
    FType OpenOffice.org.dot=”%SystemDrive%\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\sWriter.exe” -o “%1″
    FType OpenOffice.org.pot=”%SystemDrive%\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\sImpress.exe” -o “%1″
    FType OpenOffice.org.pps=”%SystemDrive%\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\sImpress.exe” -o “%1″
    FType OpenOffice.org.ppt=”%SystemDrive%\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\sImpress.exe” -o “%1″
    FType OpenOffice.org.xls=”%SystemDrive%\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\sCalc.exe” -o “%1″
    FType OpenOffice.org.xlt=”%SystemDrive%\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.2\program\sCalc.exe” -o “%1″

    (there are 7 FType commands, they just did a word wrap)

    Personally I just put the commands in a batch file at RunOnce\AFT_OpenOffice.bat on the CD and then put the following command at RunOnce to call it:

    CMD /R “%Source%RunOnce\AFT_OpenOffice.bat”

    I am unable to download the open office addon as the site says download limit has been exceeded. Is there any possibility will you please upload in to Microsoft skydrive or any other mirror sites. Thanks in advance.

    Try to download Open Office 2.4.0:

    SkyDrive don’t allow files bigger than 100MB.
