nLite is a tool for permanent Windows components removal and pre-installation Windows configuration. After removal there is an option to make bootable image ready for burning on cd or testing in virtual machines. With nLite you will be able to have Windows installation which on install does not include, or even contain on cd, the unwanted components.

Note: this addon includes the required runtimes for nLite. In case you install .Net Framework get the “clean” nLite 1.4.7 addon instead.

    Getting an error of missing “mscoree.dll” when using this addon with MCE

    Bob I’m sorry to hear that. I’m not sure if it’s MCE fault or something else. The addon was tested on WinXP.

    I wonder what is different? MCE is XP Pro with Media Center
