I installed this and was greeted with
http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.5/whatsnew/
which currently says 305 is a beta.
Is this going to be a final and they haven’t updated yet or what?

Don’t worry it’s the final version of Firefox. I don’t release betas here
The installer could be found on the Mozilla’s FTP: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.0.5/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%203.0.5.exe I’m sure they will update the homepage soon as well.

There is one more reason to switch to firefox. A serious flaw was found in IE.

The download link works just fine here. Clean your browser’s cache and try again.

I’m in the U.S., tried it on a different system using Firefox, IE & Iron, different DNS servers, still cannot display webpage after clicking download link. Have downloaded 20+ addons from this site without problem, choosing different host servers, no problems. I dunno, thanks anyway. Other addons I’ve tried worked great, tested successfully on different installs. Much appreciated!
