Bookmark Base - Portable Bookmark Manager

Don’t know about you, but currently I have about 370 bookmarks in my browser. All nicely organized in Firefox, it’s conveniently to visit websites without having to actually write the URL. I don’t even bother to remember the URLs, and I’m sure you have a better things to do as well.
Now what would happen if you have to move on another computer? Without bookmarks we are completely lost in the Internet jungle. Well, almost…
The Bookmark Base Team suggested me to try their software, so let’s see the key features:

Simple bookmarks editor - editing your bookmarks is easy. Change URLs, names and put some description.
Fast embedded bookmarks checker - this is a fast way to check and remove some dead URLs. However this feature is available in the registered version only.
- Search in bookmarks - instantly find bookmarks searching by name, URL, description or folder.
- Multiple bookmarks exporting abilities - export your bookmarks to another browser or to XBEL file. Currently Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera are supported.
- Security and privacy - all your bookmarks are securely encrypted in one single file to prevent unauthorized access.
- Absolute portability - the program is designed to be used directly from your USB drive or iPod. So your bookmarks are always with you. Just attach the device and you’re back in the game.

The program is quite easy to use, the interface is nice and clean. Synchronizing bookmarks between the personal computer at home and your laptop at work is not a problem.
The demo version is not time limited however you can import/export only 20 bookmarks and the bulk checker is disabled.
