This firewall, while it provides limited outbound protection, only presents "closed" rather than "stealthed" ports to the Internet.

If your PC is directly connected to the Internet then XP sp2's built-in firewall (which is "stealthed") would probably be a better choice.

If you are also behind a router or some other firewall, then Ashampoo firewall is an acceptable choice.</description>
