What to reach out about

We read everything that comes in, but here are the kinds of messages we love to see:

• Corrections. Spotted a mistake, a broken step, or something that’s gone out of date? Tell us. We’d much rather fix it than leave it wrong.
• Story tips. Heard about a Windows or Microsoft change before we covered it? Point us to it. Some of our best stories start life as a reader email.
• Topic requests. Wish we’d written a guide for the thing you’re stuck on? Just ask. If you’re wondering about it, plenty of others are too.
• Feedback. Loved a piece, hated one, or have an idea to make the site better? We want all of it, the good and the blunt.
• Working together. Interested in advertising or a partnership? Send over a few details and we’ll take it from there.

When you’ll hear back

We’re a small, hands-on team, not a giant call center, so please give us a little breathing room. We try to reply to most messages within a couple of business days. Anything about a correction or a security concern moves straight to the top of the pile.

One quick thing to know

WinAddons is an independent site that writes about Microsoft products. We’re not Microsoft, which means we can’t open your account, reset a password, or sort out a billing problem on their side. For official account and subscription help, Microsoft Support is your best bet. For pretty much everything else about getting the most out of Windows and Microsoft tools, that’s exactly what we’re here for.
